Flipped Interview

Hello everyone!
In my first post, I want to show you a a fun resource that you can use in your classroom in order children to meet each other. It is called a flipped interview and it encourages creativity, TIC skills and cooperative work in pairs.
Here you can see an example of what I´ve created. I want to introduce you my classmate Elena, an English teacher, who is currently studying a Master´s degree in bilingual education.

I´m going to explain you how I created this flipped interview. First of all, Elena and I created an online file in "Google Drive" in which we could write online at the same time our interviews. For the interviews we asked questions that we considered interesting or important to notice for the rest.We had to make questions following this structure:
  • 2 of her favourite activities in the world
  • 1 dream occupation she would have if they were not in the field of education.
  • Any other details she is willing to provide, such as expectations on this course, future plans on her educational career and so forth.
After that, we recorded ourselves, asking questions and answering, and we uploaded it into our Google Drive file.
Once I had every video I used "Wondershare Filmora" in order to edit it, just adding a title, some transitions, music, and an ending. Finally, we post it in "YouTube" in order to share it with all of you.

I hope you find it useful and you put it into practice because it is not a difficult issue, it just takes time. See you soon!
